Air channel sections “P”
The air channel section “P” system by Gebhardt-Stahl has for years been a recognized and proven system for high air-tightness requirements. Thanks to the one-of–a-kind geometry of the “P” sections, they stand apart from other flanged sections currently available on the market.
A double 30° profiling gives the frame sections excellent stability and enables inserting the metal sheet without any problems. Naturally all such flanged sections of 20 mm, 30 mm or 40 mm size are readily available ex Gebhardt's warehouse. All three sizes are also supplied with readily injectable butyl sealing paste (or without, as per request). “P” sections with the option with the injectable sealing paste are suitable, without the necessity of further sealing along the section edges, for ventilation installations of C air-tightness class (DIN EN 1507). The tightness was naturally verified by TÜV-Nord.
The selected butyl sealant corresponds to the VDI 6022 guidelines, does not contain solvents, silicone and is elastically durable. On request, special products can be supplied.
